FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Q.How early should I apply for my Umrah visa?
We recommend applying at least 3–4 weeks before your travel date to allow ample processing time and avoid last-minute issues.
Q.Can women travel for Umrah without a Mahram?
Women aged 45 and above may travel in an organised group without a Mahram. Women under 45 must be accompanied by a Mahram (male guardian). A notarised no-objection letter from the Mahram may also be accepted in some cases.
Q.What vaccinations are required for Saudi Arabia?
The Meningitis ACWY vaccination is mandatory. COVID-19 vaccination may also be required. We recommend consulting your GP or travel clinic for the most up-to-date requirements.
Q.What happens if my visa application is rejected?
Visa approval is at the discretion of Saudi authorities. If rejected, we will advise on next steps. Our service fee is non-refundable, but any government fees may be partially recoverable depending on the case.
Q.Can I extend my Umrah visa while in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, Umrah visas can sometimes be extended through Saudi immigration offices. However, this is subject to approval and we advise not to overstay without an approved extension.
Q.Is travel insurance required for a Saudi visa?
While not always mandatory, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, and repatriation.
